It's not all his money. He takes most of NS racket money to "invest" along with whatever NS players contribute to their poorly performing stock fund.

For those of you that don't know, Monarch has been desperately trying to find some partners for an Insurgency 2.0 campaign for the past six months. Their plan would be to attack either PT/CR or NS, or one then the other. Unfortunately, no one will join up with them because no one trusts them, and their general douchiness and personal smear campaigns in the forums don't help either. Other factions have, rightfully so, determined that M would just use them and toss them aside later. If they want a fight, they should just press the attack button, but instead, they weasel around making false promises to everyone and stomp their feet baffled why everyone is against them.
I can see why all of this is problematic for M's leadership team. They built a super strong main faction and now have no competitors and nothing to do with the faction. Soon, their members will realize there is nothing left to do there and go off to places where they can have more fun and not be associated with scammers.
This brings me to the point about politics. Like it or not, politics are part of the game (and real life). There are rocks on the ground, and you can throw them; no one is stopping you. But if you throw a rock at someone, then want their help later, you might not get it.
