When I attacked someone, an inactive player stole the kill. They haven't made an action for over a hundred days. I'm not sure if the bug is with the "Inactive" Status, or the attack. I can report which player I attacked and which player "Stole" the kill. Unless it's somekind of random event made by torn, I couldn't find anything online about it.

Clickable attack log please
Did the person you were attacking not lose against the inactive person?
I am assuming you are referring to this attack log. The person you attacked, was attacking someone else during that time and lost their attack and hence were defeated by the inactive target. This is not a bug as multiple attacks can happen simultaneously.
