My first tip will be a football bet and it takes us to Serie C in Italy.

Lecco vs Juventus Next Gen (start time 1600hrs on 19/10/2022)

Juventus Next Gen have had a mixed start to the season, having won 2, drawing 3 and losing 3 of their opening games.[/background]

What stands out to me about this fixture though is the likelihood of goals, and with the over 2.5gls priced at 2.29 it represents very good value. There's been 12 goals scored between these two teams in total across their last 4 head to heads, whilst 3 of the 4 last away games Juventus have played have all gone over 2.5gls too.

Not a good start - despite there being 10 shots on target in the match there was only one goal, with the home team sneaking it.

Brentford vs Chelsea (1830hrs on 19/01/2022)

Chelsea have been flying since Graham Potter took control, winning their last 5 games in a row and only conceeding 1 goal. Meanwhile Brentford bounced back after a 5-1 thumping by Newcastle to win a tough game at the weekend. I can't see anything other than another Chelsea win here though and the odds are decent.

Chelsea huffed and puffed but Brentford defended like their lives depended on it last night and in the end it finished 0-0. Chelsea had multiple opportunities to win it late on but it wasn't to be. It's a shame as prior to the two tips I'd put up, I was running at 10 wins from 15 bets, but that's changed to 10 from 17 now. Let's hope the stats improve.

We go to the Singapore league where you are always guranteed goals!

Tampine Rovers vs Tanjong Pagar (1145hrs on 20/10/2022)

Tampine Rovers have scored 72 goals in their 27 games this season, conceeding 54. This averages out at 4.6 goals per game. Meanwhile, Tanjong have scored 56 goals themselves and conceeded 65, averaging out at 4.4 goals per game. The last 3 meetings between these sides has seen at least 5 goals scored and I'm predicting the same again!

Tip: Tampine Rovers vs Tanjong Pagar (1145hrs on 20/10/2022) over 4.5gls @ 1.75 **WIN**

Phew - about time I got one in! There's very few certainties in life - but goals in Signapore involving games with Tampine Rovers are as close as you can get so, make sure you keep them on your watch list for future events. The game finished 4-3 with 7 goals being scored in total!

We push on with our next game and this time we find ourselves in Finland. I saw this one yesterday and was expecting the odds to drop, but it looks very overpriced still.

TPS vs FC Lahiti (1530hrs on 20/10/2022)

This is a big game for both clubs in the race for promotion / relegation. TPS finished the season in second in the 2nd Division in Finland, where they scored 24 goals and conceeded 9 in 11 home games (average of 3 gaosl per game). FC Lahiti play in the division but had a difficult season. In their 14 away games though, they conceeded 33 goals and scored 15 (average of 3.4 per game). Both teams will want to push for the win and I can see a few goals being scored.

Not to be - keeper made a world class save in the 87th minute to keep the scores at 1-1 and deny the bet.

Two for tonight - reasoning is as sound as the others...just doesn't seem to be clicking bt hopefully these will turn it round.

Tip: Grasshopper vs Servette (1830hrs on 20/10/2022) over 2.5gls @ 1.70 **WON**

Yeah - Basel played against 10 men for 75 minutes and somehow couldn’t find a goal despite having 80% possession and dominating the match. Sometimes playing against 10 men is harder than 11 though as they just sit back and defend and it’s hard to break down.


I’ll have a look after lunch for any more I fancy for today.

Tip flys in after only 61 minutes - not sure why the price was so big for this as it was as close to a banker as you can get!

Tip 2: Chapecoense AF vs Tombense FC (2215hrs on 21/10/2022) - over 2.5gls @ 2.38 **WON**

Both tips winners at great prices! The first came in just 2 minutes into the second half, whilst the second tip was in even before HT.

Tip 1: Melbourne Victory vs Melbourne City (0845hrs on 22/10/2022) - over 2.5gls @ 1.85 **LOSE**

Tip 2: FC Metaloglobus Bucharesti vs Dinamo Bucharesti (0900hrs on 22/10/2022) - Dinamo Bucharesti to win @ 2.15 **WIN**

I hate red cards! It was 2-0 after 20 minutes in Australia before the red card came. It's never good for a goals bet when a red card comes as generally the team will then put all the men behind the ball so they don't concede and that's exactly what happened!

Better news in the other game, where Dinamo won comfortbaly and because they were great odds it still means profit if you followed both.

Saturdays are a big football day for me and I'll generally be putting up a few of my most fancied bets, as well as a couple at higher odds that I would say to play with smaller stakes.

Tip 1: Harrogate Town vs Tranmere Rovers (1400hrs on 22/10/2022) - Tranmere to win @ 2.29 **LOSE**

Tranmere have been on a 5 game winning streak in the league without conceeding a goal. They have also won their last 4 away games in a row. It's worth saying that they are also the team I support so if this bet doesn't win I'll be doubly disappointed!

Tip 2: Crawley Town vs Mansfield Town (1400hrs on 22/10/2022) - Mansfield to win @ 1.95 **LOSE**

Mansfield are flying this season and sit 4th in the league and unbeaten in their last 7 games and have scored the 2nd most goals out of all the teams. Crawley sit 2nd to bottom, have lost 8 of their 13 games and have conceeded the 2nd most goals out of all the teams. I'm expecting Mansfield to heap on the misery today.

Tip 3: Oxford United vs Peterborough United (1400hrs on 22/10/2022) - Peterborough to win @ 2.90 **WIN**

This is slightly riskier so I'd not lump on it - but Peterborough still offer great value. They are flying in the league and Oxford don't have a great home record, having lost 3 of their 6 home games.
