All day today and late last night I started receiving an error code 550 anytime I try to do crimes, gym, city, really just anything. Has there been an announcement or anything about this? If so where? And when is it getting fixed.

Same here, this one affect me during an initiate attack. Fix this :/
It's caused by increased server load due to the halloween event. Staff (along with the rest of Torn) is painfully aware of it.
Just the message that scrolls at the top of the screen, and the newspaper, and the 75 other forum threads about the 550 error in every part of the forums.

Our chain just dropped as I literally sat on a frozen attack screen. Is anyone doing anything about this??
Lots of complaints about dropped chains in GD. Bogie responded to a couple that he restored some chains that hadn't cooled down yet. He's posted that he can't restore them once they reach cooldown though.
