100K Speed Record

Hello Torn Community,

Is with much pleasure that I say: PT-Family completed a f**king 100k chain in 5 days, 9 hours, 2 minutes!

The 100k short brief

We decided to do the 100k right after we did the 50k during Valentine's... In August we asked members to join energy companies so they could have enough job points for a full week during Halloween :)... However Ched delayed the release so much that we started to lose hope and that we might have to do the 1st unofficial 100k >.<

Soon as Halloween started and we saw the lag, we thought that our plans to beat the record could get compromised, even though it's truly impressive how these beasts smashed the 10k and 25k speed record!

After this Antuntun got the #42069: Antuntun: 13:11:24 - 27/10/22 You used 0 energy attacking Lady-Vader and defeated them (chain #42069) [view]

Then Jani reach an amazing mark of 1,000 hits after 57h... right before we smashed the 50k speed record!

A couple hours later Rey took the #69420, right before Link- tried to snipe it >.<

And then Zuni got kinky >.<

The best was reserved for 00TCT when we got hit by the MOST devastating DB in Torn so far... (according to the newspaper)

Your faction has been severely hit by a dirty bomb, decreasing its respect by 682,074 to 11,080,530. 00:01:08 30/10/22

I felt this only made everyone in Family even more eager to complete the 100k! I reckon we could have ended 6h sooner if it wasn't for this DB but this only proof that PT night shift is one of the best in Torn!

Then at 21:04 TCT we totally nailed the 100k record by 10 days! WOOT

To my fellow members I want to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! You guys are the BEST! Simply the best team I could have wished for and to share this achievement with!

To my fellow leaders and helpers, you guys were huge during the whole time, like for example, last night when we had to distribute the hazmats throughout members.

Special mention to Squirrel for being one of the best persons i ever dealt with! Thank you from the heart!

Thank you bogie for the energy refills >.<

A big thank you to all the chain watchers, for the most important job during a chain! Is because of you that we can hit without fear of the chain break!

I want to also thank to Chain Reaction leaders and members and Z_Junior for the help on triggering Early discharge!

A word to our neighbors, Brahmastra, The Corporation, Romania Elite Kommando and Itsi Bitsi Bikini, for the fake walls, you guys were vital on this adventure, thank you for that.

808 respect woooop, look at dem gainz!!!

So, so, so proud of this faction! We kicked absolute ass. No DB or high 2m bounties could keep us down. We chained almost faster than our first recorded 50k. So amazing.

GG's to the team for pulling it off within a week. I'll admit, I was sceptical, but I underplayed the sheer degeneracy we are able to pull off when united under the Portugal banner. It'll be one to remember.

And finally, here is some rare footage, moments after our DB protocol was activated...

Happy Halloween!!

Damn impressive timing there guys, congrats!
Major accomplishment especially given having a DB dropped on you - but you banded together to overcome the effects and achieve a huge milestone in Torn history. Cudos!
