    As mentioned above, we do not have a resource to troubleshoot chat related issues at present. This is happening due to the chat box being out of sync on the app. You can close the chat boxes and re-open them …

The current chat system won’t be getting any new updates since Chats 2.0 is in the works and will be relaunched soon(tm)

It’s most likely a caching issue, try closing the chat from the recents tab (the tab with people at the bottom) and re opening it.

As mentioned above, we do not have a resource to troubleshoot chat related issues at present.

This is happening due to the chat box being out of sync on the app. You can close the chat boxes and re-open them or simply clear the app's cache from app settings and it will most likely fix the issue. The iOS app is not even supported anymore, so if it is related to the app, we cannot fix it.
