The thing you fail to see, in your extensive experience of the game, is that the majority of factions help young players grow and learn the game.

If you want to help, go join a proper faction with experienced and knowledgeable players. Learn the ropes, how things work, etc etc. Then, in a few months, when you have started to understand the basics of the game, you'll be ready to learn some more. Then, maybe one day, if you recognize that you are currently a super nub and will be a nub for a good long while, you'll know enough to be able to help nubs rather than disperse handouts and achieving very little.
