I don’t get it so let’s say I travel to uk pick up 5 x weed cost me 18k to get there and whatever to by, then travel back and sell for £25k less fees make about 3.5k

why not stay ho,e get 100 plushies for £65 and sell foe £650 as an example and even less if you get mugged on way

what am I missing?

you should sell plushies to players, not to ingame stores!
You can get a lot for it!
So buy plushie in UK and sell it to me for example. Around 1m profit per flight

At your stage, it's better to buy only flowers and plushies from abroad, then sell them on the item market (or your bazaar, if you have unlocked it with points) for roughly the value amount shown at that time.

This is the quickest way to make profits through reselling. Then use those profits to hire an island (with airstrip) for a week, make more profits because you can buy 10 extra items with an airstrip, then use those profits to extend the island rental. Repeat as necessary.

Note that there are high daily fees with an island (100k+ a day) but, you'll still profit overall, it's just a slow process.

There are numerous other ways of making profits, such as selling losses but, only if you're happy to put you battle stats on hold for a while (you could easily buy your own Island within 4 months doing this).

Because there is a change you get buy mugged, (after they buy your items they instant mug you so they get a piece of their money back.

Best thing to do is fly, buy flowers of plushies and sell them to a trader. That way they take the risk and you get a fair risk free way of selling your stuff

my recommendations for traders are NotDatGuy, Awesomesauce1 and Unique, hope it helps :)

The main stores in Torn have a buy limit of 100 items per day, which is why traders pay more for the kittens/sheep than they cost in the store.
The shops abroad have no maximum per day, you are only limited by how many times you can travel and how many items you can carry - again, traders pay more than they cost to buy in the shops.
To give a rough estimate of how much the items you can buy are worth, check this out (fillter to show only flowers and plushies, and sort by profit per hour)

Let me summarize:

- only buy flowers and plushies. Here you can see what is most profitable at the moment
- NEVER sell to NPC store, sell either on Item Market or to a trader
- increase your carrying capacity to 29

That way you can earn up to some 6M every day just from flying.
