Can you please try clearing site data for Torn from within the browser settings and see if it resolves the issue?

can confirm, also on Firefox. been like this since a long long time.
i have noticed that it *always* checks the browser when i disconnect from a netwrok and connect to another, which doesn't happen on TornPDA, for example.

VERY annoying so if it's something fixable on Torn's part then, please, do something.

Please click on the Lock icon and clear everything:

It should log you out from the session and you will have to re-login. I don't see any Login logs for your account, which means that you still have the existing session active in Firefox.

when i say long time i mean a LONG time. so long that clearing caches and cookies now it's useless since i do it periodically for some reason or another and this problem has been constant for (at least) a year.

but ok... let's do it...

just cleared everything as detailed in your post. logged out from all devices as well before doing it.

re-logged in and switched wifi network: cloudflare check. switched back to the previous network: cloudflare check.

also when i logged in just after clearing cache and cookies i lost the chatbox width/height settings, notification settings and dark mode setting.
i believe this is related, since it didn't happen in TornPDA. edit: i'm dumb

As far as I know this is normal, since those are per device settings.

right, i'm stupid. i didn't clear cache from TornPDA so it's normal.
just tried and, in fact, no more dark mode or chat settings were preserved.

Changing network is intended to trigger CF check. It is due to the DDoS protection that Cloudflare provides. That cannot be turned off.

Having same problem even after attempting this fix.

I also went ahead and tried a Private Window with all Firefox addons disabled. Problem still persists.

As I see in the ticket description, user has Firefox v 50.x version (actual for 2017-2018)
Current Firefox version - 107-108
Does the user have the ability to update the browser and check again?
I've replicated the issue in the FF 50.x version
