Clothing store perk / Mug protection calculation

Is the 7* clothing store perk applied before or after calculating plunder + merits ?


1. before
10m - 75% protection + 77% (plunder + merits) = 4.425.000 mugged

2. after
10m + (77% (plunder + merits) - 75% protection) = 10.200.00 mugged


I might be blind tho, not seeing the obvious here :3

doesn't matter, in fact the second result is wrong and it's 4,425,000.

10,000,000*0.25*1.77

2. after
10,000,000*1.77*0.25

Yeah, if it does not matter my second result is wrong. But do we know for sure it is applied to the inital mug amount and not the actual amount ?

either way produces the same result because it's all multiplicative. whether you multiply the 0.25 before the plunder or after will give the same result in the end provided you don't add something else.

I made an mistake in my train of thought by assuming mug protection is working as a counter to mug merits and plunder and applied it to these in my second example. Which does not make sense at all.
A 10m mug would always be a 4.425.000 mug with mug protection.
