Traveling

I recently became lvl 15 and got access to traveling. I want to know the beifets of traveling to other places.

You can run plushies and make shitton of money

Also make sure to rent a pi with airstrip

The trick is to maximize the number of items you can buy abroad. You can get a large suitcase, find a faction with travel perks, get a job with travel perks, etc. Once you're able to buy up 20+ plushies or flowers you can make a good profit reselling them in the city (esp. if you have a bazaar).

Another benefit of traveling is that there's quite a few merits that can be unlocked by visiting each country.

Travel to each country 50 times to get the merits.

As others mentioned above, traveling is an excellent way to advance yourself both financially and merit-wise. By default (without any special upgrades or faction perks), you get a base traveling capacity of 5 items. This amount can be increased through various methods, some of which include:

• Flying using a PI w/ an airstrip raises your base carrying amount to 15 total items and you can easily rent one for around 3-5m every two weeks if you don't care about other upgrades
• Small, Medium, or Large Suitcases (+2, 3, and 4 items respectively; NO stacking)
• Faction excursion branch upgrades (up to +10 items depending on your faction)

There are other ways to increase these limits that are associated to various company specials, Tourism Day (doubles your capacity), and reading the "Smuggling for Beginners" book, but the three methods listed in bullet points are likely your easiest options for now.

On the monetary side of things, you have plushie/flower running. Some of the most lucrative options for runs are panda plushies from China or camel plushies from UAE. If you don't want to travel that far, however, jaguar plushies from Mexico or stingray plushies from the Cayman Islands are also decent choices. You can also get a merit for visiting each country 50 times (e.g. 50 visits to Mexico, 50 to China, etc.)
