We've all been there. Duke wants you to get arrested, thrown in jail, drop a pill, go to hospital, drop another pill, walk home free...
Except it always takes a million tries because as soon as you sniff the fresh Torn City Jail air, someone busts your ass and you're swallowing nothing, because that pill you're trying to sink didn't sync.
But then you can't be mad either, because all those people are doing you a favour. Like when they raise you from your hospital bed after curing you of all manner of things ranging from mild cases of violent death to quite severe allergic reactions to bullets. But... you have the ability to say no to the warming miracle hands of a trainee messiah, even if the ambulance crew couldn't find your throat and face you'd need in order to say no. However, when the back door to your cell opens for the first time and a friendly face beckons, it's just so very, very irresistible.
I for one believe it should be possible to moonlight as a rapper's ghostwriter, and spend some time as the person behind the bars, if you choose to be. I believe that, sometimes, imprisonment is the ultimate freedom.
