I'm glad I saw this guide. In my experience I made it through class E without having to upgrade my Honda Civic. I lost allot of races a start but I my skill grew I placed 2nd once and third a bunch of times. When I made it to class D my racing skill was 1.95. I bought the MR2 and used all of the points to upgrade. I've only entered two races so far but I came 2nd both time :)

In B class, there are two common options. One is to use a Volt MNG, and save 40-50 points. Those points you saved, along with the points you earn in B class, will be used to upgrade your first A class car.

The other option is to use a Colina Tanprice. You do not need to save points, and the Colina Tanprice will essentially be your first A class car. Despite being a B class car, it's the best car for mudpit even in A class. It's also decent on any dirt track. (Of course, there are a lot more tarmac tracks.)

Both the Volt MNG route and the Colina Tanprice route have pro's and con's. I used Volt MNG when I did it, but either will work and I'm not sure either is significantly better than the other.

This is designed for upgrading a Colina Tanprice in B class, getting the best upgrades you can get while in B class, and skipping any upgrades that have a better upgrade available when you reach A class. (The goal being to get through B class with these upgrades, then when you reach A class, you add the A class upgrades. You want to avoid upgrading a B class part to an A class part later, since that wastes points.)

That's a total of 172 points. Many people who used all their points on their C class car, then went through C with that, will have 150 points, a few short of reaching all these upgrades when they first hit B class.

If that's the case, then these are upgrades from the list above that I suggest you wait on. But go ahead and get them as soon as you have the points to do so, since they'll still be useful when you reach A class.

Once you have all of these, I would recommend you get through B class without any more upgrades. There are other upgrades you can do that will help you get wins, but all of the others are items that will end up being replaced once you reach A class, so recommend you save those points.

Racing Points do not reset. Once spent they are used. Reset a car and the points are gone forever along with the upgrades.
