Did a bomb just go off? sorry about your flying income but I would like to Introduce you to cesium income

On 29th November 2022 chedburn released an update that causes cesiums to spawn on map after Dirty Bomb Detonates

- Changed Dirty Bomb detonation events to spawn Cesium-137 on the city map around the target's territory -chedburn
Without revealing too much, essentially when a DB goes off it will also trigger a not insignificant amount of cesium to spawn as city finds on the map, picking from players who are online at the time of detonation, not necessarily members of the target faction.

The cesium will spawn in a location close to where the bomb went off (near the target faction's territory) as it scatters its radioactive material. If there's no territory then it is randomly scattered. - bogie

Looking at everything we have so far from the Admin and CM, "Not Insignificant" the double negative implies that it would be a significant amount, How much? well guess we'll find out soon (future me shall edit this part)
future me edit: Looks like not Insignificant roughly translates to 20% of cesiums it cost to build the bomb aka roughly 20 cesiums are added to the city maps after a successful bomb deto.

note: while its unconfirmed info no staff has ever said it, some idiot mentioned you need to be online 10mins prior to detonation take this with a grain of salt.
Its CONFIRMED YOU NEED TO BE ONLINE PRIOR TO BOMB DETONATION

Step 1: Wait for a furry to drop a dirty bomb
Step 2: Stay online during the last 10 minutes or so (keep city map open just in case)
Step 3: find out which faction gets hit
While the dropper is kept anonymous (they can show themselves if they want to) you will receive a full page notification telling you who its on, write that down or just open forums - general discussion and find out.
Step 4: open City Map and enable Full Territories View
Step 5: use the search bar to search for the faction territories from step 3,

Step 6: squint your eyes and search or else use a extension like ReTorn or TornTools to check your city map for items.

Step 7: get them free cesiums at the expense of the drop!!!

Good Luck!

On the hour, after the hour it was dropped i.e. it was dropped at 14:XX TCT - on the hour being 15:00TCT, plus an hour = 16:00TCT

So the bomb is dropped, the city enters a state of emergency, and 1-2 hours later the bomb goes off and cesium appears right?

well I will report it to move, just posted in GD cause most people are gonna come here to find out who the bomb is on.

I think that's fair. We can leave it in GD for now as it's the first bomb since this change, for exposure sake that's fine and we'll pop it in T&G shortly after.
