Device: samsung SM-S367VL Android: 9 App version: 1.9.15. I have no tools or scripts running

Today my company lost a star. My popularity went up and all of my employees are over 100% on their effectiveness. Every day my company goes a little higher in the popularity, so I'm having a hard time seeing how I lost a star.

Lol this isn't a bug, you just didn't perform well compared to the other companies and your spot in 7* got ousted by a better performing company.

Popularity going up just means that your sales are going up in comparison to the top hair salon in the game. Doesn't really mean you're performing better than the companies you're competing with.

As chuck said above - You are competing vs other companies your star. People focus too much on Popularity, it should be called Percentile, because thats all it is. Showing you what percentile your company sales are in vs the others but doesnt mean you're doing better than other companies your star. Every company with higher weekly sales above you will have a higher popularity.

Popularity is the end result, not the determining factor.

As mentioned above, your company simply lacks the income to hold the 7* rating. The Popularity simply shows how well your company is doing in comparison to the best performing company in your Company type. It has no bearing on the star ratings directly. The screenshot shows how much weekly income you actually needed after Sunday's report to be able to have maintained 7* rating.
