I recently did a shitpost ( for the secret merits). I chose to capture the main theme or essence of the post Irhat was the subject of the parody.

Several comments chastised me for not being more direct in my approach. Indeed, I was advised that there should have been better use of direct quotes and formatting.

While dislikes and bounty beatingsake me cry ...one must succumb to the need for parody to survive in this cruel worl. Not to mention IRL.

So, please give me your suggections and reccomendations for style and approach of future parody postings. Feel free to discuss suggested topics or include your own parody so I can lurn better.

Either it’s funny or it’s not. Either people get it or they don’t.

I guess the first rule is to not care. If people think you’re trying too hard they won’t like it.

Some of my shitposts get over like 2 Karma. Some get over 20. The elite few get over 50. It's a gamble each time, but the more you shitpost the more likely you have to hit the Karma Jackpot. All it costs is time and effort, no money involved so it's a much better RoI than the Casino

Parody is not necessarily funny or comedy one could argue.
