Hi all,
I placed a bet and it paid me out due to it winning,
but then it was refunded apparently it payed out even though it lost
upon checking the team I did bet on infact won?
I’m not sure the procedure on this one

Depending on the game you bet on you may have bet on a game that was only valid for normal regulation. Meaning if the game was won in overtime the bet is still lost.

Where if you bet on the full event it includes overtime.

Or the bet may of been listed wrongly, seen another big about a game where beta were still open for an hour after start time of the match

You placed the bet after the match had already begun, which is why it was refunded. On rare occasions, the provider sends us incorrect data for the match start time or the matches simply start early. Any bets which were placed after the match had already begun would get refunded (Bookie Policies).

Due to a data limitation for some sports/tournaments it is possible to place a bet after the event is started IRL on rare occasions. All such bets will be refunded (usually, when markets are settled).
