It appears to me that the Home button link as well as the forward and backward page navigation buttons located at the bottom of the screen are not functioning.
The copy link, refresh, notifications, and settings buttons are working fine, but the three listed above don't seem to be doing anything at all.

I am afraid then it is just the app being slow. The buttons are still responsive, it is just that the app gets slow enough that you think that the buttons are not functioning. You can test this out by clicking a button and then leaving the screen, the new page will start loading after a few seconds. I have seen it being as slow as 30 secs.
We are already aware about this issue, unfortunately it is not related to the app itself, but being caused due to the current chat architecture. The issue completely disappears when we disabled the chats in dev environment. We are currently waiting for the new chat system to be finished and rolled out before revisiting this issue.
In the meanwhile, if the issue is becoming too big of a problem for you, please consider switching over to a mobile browser or Torn PDA (which also suffers from the same issue, but it is much slower for the issue to become noticeable enough). You can also clear the app from task switcher and that improves the performance for a little while.
