Egg Spawning Details

Any techie figure out how Eggs spawn? I'm trying to understand if I'm wasting my time in how I'm searching for these damn things...

1) Do they actually spawn, like items do on the City Map, or is it just a random chance it will show up on any given page at any time? For example, if I just refresh the same page a billion times, will I eventually hit one, or would I never, because mine spawned on a different page than what I'm refreshing?

2) In a similar vein, do we know if they spawn on a timer, meaning if I click on ever single page on Torn and don't find one, is there any reason to re-do all that the same day, or should I wait until the next day to try again?

Knowing these would at least help us know how to hunt and not waste our time chasing ghosts! Hopefully someone here's been able to crack the code/egg!

I don't have concrete evidence to answer your questions, but I can give experience that I have ran through every page three times today and on a third run through found an egg.

Yesterday, I had a similar experience before finding the two eggs I found. So while I have cannot confirm how, why or when they spawn - it is not fruitless to research pages you have already checked in the same day.

Looking forward to others intel as well, as some folks seemed to get three or more eggs yesterday, while I could only find 2 with hours of searching.

Literally a waste of time event don’t think ive ever found more than 1-2 eggs in prior years

I had my second one spawn on the home page, which I definitely visited before I saw it

My thoughts is that it likely just gets generated over the life of the event. Whether they appear on the same page twice is another question though.
- If they do, then there might be some value checking common pages a bit more regularly to increase the chance they appear there rather than an obscure page you wont visit
- If not, then there really isnt much value looking for them until the last day

Either way, if everyone actually has roughly the same amount of eggs available for the event, there isnt much point looking for them early right now. Im not going to bother anymore until the last day

Was on the main City Page, which I had visited prior not too long ago, so seems you may be able to refresh the same page over and over and get one that way?

Yup they made them that big, now mobile users don’t need to search the page with a magnifying glass anymore

Yes they are that size.

I never used the app anyway. PDA is the way to go, yes they spawn and yes the egg alert script works. Pda is the best way to torn on iOS

Would you fly for an egg? Maybe some only show up if you fly abroad and load some pages there?

Do we have to add the egg alert script to PDA or is it enabled automatically?

I found mine by going though pages, I think its like last year just harder, and the eggs are bigger and bob up and down

You have to add it manually, copy the script then go to advanced settings and in the script section you can add custom scripts and paste there
