I dont like the new White and Purple Easter Eggs, they have minimum conditions to use them and i cant even throw them out to someone else who would get better use from them. If i want to waste them using them when they would be of no use to me, i want to do that, it hurts no one but me, what is the issue with allowing us to do it? If you insist on us only using them under certain conditions, please make them able to be sent to others so that if we dont need em we can give them to someone who will use it.

some of them have specials to valuable to trade, maybe an unwrap button that turns them to the plain choco eggs so they lose the specials

They literally just removed trading and revamped new effects based entirely on not being able to be traded. They're not going to go back on it just because you don't want your free stuff just like they won't allow trading of books.
If you don't like them and don't want them, don't pick them up. It's that simple. No one is forcing you to participate.

what if eggs could only be traded for other eggs. old players with yellow eggs could trade for white eggs from a young player. But i do understand why they cant be traded. Having a white egg makes me want to get addicted.
Like I told my kid, some of those eggs he's going to want to sit on for years (heck, I'm going to want to sit on my white egg for years too). They can probably be added to your display cabinet if you don't want them cluttering up your inventory (can't test that because I'm flying).
I am in favor of being able to unwrap them, the whole annoyance is i cant just use them and get the happiness boost even if i miss the primary effect they come with, i didn't know what the eggs effects would be, that i wouldn't be able to get rid of them and picking them up during the competition still adds to the count. People saying 'just dont take part' is just stupid. (im not saying you said that, read the replies you will see what i mean).
I can't toss it out, i can't just take the happiness boost it offers and be done with at the expense of missing the other effect and at this point the only reason to pick them up is for the count but further adds to the annoyance of them being useless to me. For god sake, no. The event changes were made from community feedback. This is what it is.
