Mostly disagree with you there.. its a well know thing in smth that theirs alot of cheaters but none of them have passed this on.. which make them no better than the cheaters. happy to gain the benefits is what I see.. hah
It’s obvious, there is scripting going on. Get bailed out of jail in 2secs or less. Scripting is wide spread. Yes, I agree the admins run the game. It’s the owners game, owners rules. Would I want someone playing my game to decide how I do things after sweating labor over it, corrupting it with hacks. No! However, I haven’t played one game on the market that doesn’t source through a server with God mode or aimbots or hardware that aims for you. Which is why I don’t play many games. The scripting hacks are as easy as hitting refresh. I could easily attack in less than 5 secs with someone rezzing on mobile.
The real picture here is that the “mostly Chinese” who are completely on fiber first off, are the only ethnic group on trial. I don’t have a dog in this fight either, but when this can of worms is open, when does it get closed?

Gotta go with Spork on this one, we definitely do NOT want the community deciding on rule breaking. Can you imagine someone who is cheating who then pays off tons of players to vote in their favor?
Staff makes decisions based on having ample evidence, not on a "gut feeling". If you read bogie's earlier comments, you'll see that.

Why would Bogie leave it up to the community when he's already confirmed that they have a disproportionate amount of cheaters, if he wanted to ban them and delete them they would already be.

Let me answer your last question first. Yes I agree with you, our faction management team should bear with responsiblities that we did recruit some players who violate the game rule and because they are from our country, some of the players in our faction countil(it included myself before but not anymore) tend to be more tolerant to those players we know might bear with potential rule breaking activities, purely because we are a minority in the game and we cherish every player who stayed in torn. The reason why I am here is because like what the community wants, we had to be clear that such tolerance can only make things worse for us cos the cheaters will be caught someday. Therefore we are putting our foot down that we have 0 tolerance and sympathy to rule breakers. Any report from anyone is welcomed and hopefully with the assistance from GMs we could have them punished.
And comes to your doubts about 'disconnection', you were saying that there are many players in our faction who does not speak at all but taking 3+xan per day. To me thats not true at all. If you were in our qq chat groups you will see how active each of them are. We have groups for all smth members, for each faction(7 of them),for directors,for recruitment, and many others. I bet with you that you see nothing of such activity in any of your dc channel. I could give you the chat record you ask, any specific date you name it, i can show you our chat record in any group. So what you assume this 'never say anything guy' in some of our qq group might be extremely active. Actually we have a joke made in our community - 'the main play page for torn is qq group, not the torn page'

Totally fair. I think leadership are taking reactive actions for fed reports. Like the recent script fed, internal annoucement is made to re-iterate rules and some closet cleaning is done. Proactive actions may be lacking, usually depends on member reporting from anecedotes. Like Good [2545616] was reported by fellow members and got booted. I don't know whether leader can automate those investigation and review it on regular basis. I will let ig_chen comment on that.

Go into any of the Torn faction family discords and imagine one person typing all that, and then raise the speed up a few notches. It's in Chinese, of course, I doubt they will be that quick in English.

If I had poor english skills I wouldn't reach out to random people as much, especially "stronger" accounts. I still remember that thread about some smth newb getting perma bountied for some random weird reason.

Making fun of someone's usage is a universal trait, not just something Americans do. When I was in Beijing, I had reason to say "thank you" sometimes to people who did not speak English.

Sometimes I said it correctly, but sometimes I stumbled. I remember one time, the person walked away with his friends, talking in Chinese, and I heard him say "Xièxiè" with a very bad pronunciation and they all laughed. I knew they were making fun of me and I felt ashamed of my language skills.
The online flaming is much worse than in-person jokes. I can certainly understand a reluctance to take a chance with a stranger, especially a high-level player. But hopefully that will go better in Discord, where the participants know that everyone is there by choice to talk.

Blizzard realized this long ago and made great efforts to thwart it. Eventually just made adjustments to make the game immune to things like TornTools, scripts and hacking by developing their own and endorsing similar tools
