Is this intentional? "trade initiate outgoing/incoming" returns this string as the trade_id and I have to slice off beginning and end to get the ID# "trade expire" returns an integer. [image: i.imgur.com]
The log is just providing the internal data post-formatting it uses to generate the lines of text you see on-site. In this case, it's generating a [view] link. We don't make any changes nor customise this data when it's shown via the API, because that would be an enormous amount of work for over a thousand log types.
This is intentional. We can't produce the unformatted data, because it occasionally contains secret data that not even the log-owner should know (I.e. An anonymous attacker for example), and the unformatted data would mostly just be internal IDs that mean little to anyone other than Torn's devs.
Whilst this makes sense, there's some very weird behaviour with links in user/events. Putting this here instead of opening a new issue as it's very similar, just a different selection.
I'm on mobile so I can't copy paste very well, but I assume you can check the events with the event UID. Basically anywhere with a link includes the domain at least once, often multiple times. Examples include zLWuy8NCbArUvyVlbVsE and p97JOhCfRWLuxIGxnEtv
If it's intended to show these weirdly formatted links (which are actually valid links weirdly enough) then the profile page formatted this way doesn't load whilst in hosp
