Just curious after reading cheds announcement,

If torn is leaving its home after 17 years and going cloud based, will we be getting a merit for that?... i.e. "survive a torn rollback"

also could there be a new item eg: "T-shirt - Cloud Base" ? or some other collectable that doesn't do anything but look pretty?

No to the roll back merit. No one is going to lose anything. You will be fine. (unless things go horribly wrong).

As for your second point, I do think it would be cool to have an items like like a tee shirt that says "I was here for the cloud migration and all I got was this crappy shirt" or something like that.
