My mate played this game years ago...he got fedded cause yeah he was a dumbass yet he suffered from a shitty life... he used the game as a way to try and ease his agony... Nobody here gave him a shot,he was bullied for everything that he did.

He contemplated suicide, considered dropping out of high school. He was goaded into acting like a piece of shit by a world that saw him as a scourge... they treated him like a menace which became a self fulfilling prophecy.

His best friends were strangers on the internet,yet for one mistake he must pay for his entire life. Where is the justice and humanity? They dehumanized him,he needed a way to calm down and he had it...in his friends,yet for being emotionally unbalanced he unintentionally harmed them,guilt courses through his veins like the street drugs he'll be bound to use to clear his mind.

Would you consider it fair for an emotionally abused youth to be baited into behaving terribly and not having a chance to explain his actions,or to say goodbye to the persons who gave him hope that he could get better? Then punishing him for a cry of salvation,leaving his friends high and dry? Chances are,that those friends are still scarred from the misery they were faced to deal with. One of them has been suicidal in the past,so what if she relapsed?

I get it,you disagree with how he's behaved. He has a therapist and besides the fact that he never had a positive role model, he tries not to gaslight yet its the only thing he knows. Before you criticize someone and judge,try spending a day in their life .

There is no justification for someone being a shitty person, I don't know who you speak of but "baiting" is not an excuse. What happens in reality is people match a person's energy and this is the outcome I guess, they victimize themselves.

It just seems like you're trying to guilt trip people for some reason and making it seem like everyone else is at fault for whatever happened.

If he is actually your "friend" you should go ahead and get him some real help, instead of trying to look for sympathy on the forums. Playing a game to escape reality and your problems isnt necessarily the best route to take, it's meant to be a way to kill some time and have some fun, not use it as a way to cope.

Get him to see a doctor, psychiatrist, therapy, anything that would actually help him, this is a crime game with a fair bit of toxicity and a handful of unpleasant people, it's probably for his own good to stay away from Torn as obviously there are plenty of triggers over here that affect his mental health..

As dunmugmeh has said, games are great way to escape the reality of life but again dont expect sympathy and support in an online game filled with trolls. Majority spend their lives in their mums basement and have not seen the light of date.
Also under no circumstances create a thread about your/ their suffering, makes you an easy target. People are not here to listen.
They should seek professional help for being suicidal, not expect everyone here in Torn to understand.
