Fly, sell plushies and flowers, don't gamble, join a ranked war faction and make millions per week warring.

First things first, don’t be a SpongeBob rank of Krusty Krab. Plenty of factions with real perks would love an interested up and coming player. I personally suggest The Resolute, just chat with leadership and tell them you want to make something of your account and you can start the symbiotic relationship.

Joining a ranked warring faction is a good idea, if you join a bronze one you can likely even make some hits and get some money, although I would get atleast 300k each stat first and then join a gold one. I say this as someone who has only been in rank warring factions since my first days playing.



If you go to the company recruitment forums, you can find companies looking to take newbies and join one. Preferably a sweet shop, as low work stats make better choices very hard to enter. You’ll gain work stats quickly and can use job points to boost your happiness which you can then use to train with better gains.



Torn is a slow game, and the starting phase is brutal. The best thing to do is save up money to buy eDvD’s, an item that gives +2,500 happy. Get five of those, 4 Xanax, 1 ecstasy, and you have what’s called a happy jump kit. That will launch your stats from the ground level.


Most importantly, read Baldr’s guide. It’s in the tutorials and guides sub forum. It’s the new player bible. If you’re serious about moving up quickly, read that while you’re at home, listen to Alexa narrate it while you sleep, masturbate to Baldr’s wisdom. The guy laid out the best path to make money (quick version, race to level 15 and fly).
