So i became a subscriber recently but i had donator status before that with donator packs, my question is will my donator status be on pause or will it contiunue to dwindle with time ?

This isn't quite true. It's best to think of donator status and subscriber status as two different things.

Being a donator and having donator status through those donator days is what gives perks like 150 energy, faster regen etc

Being a subscriber gives you the blue star, special items each month, sub draw etc

When you subscribe you get those perks for being a subscriber and it also credits you 31 donator days. Those days stack on top of whatever existing days you have and count down as normal. Each time the payment renews it stacks another 31 days on top (372 if annual).

So those days won't get consumed, but that's because of the days given by a sub stacking on top.
