deadly weapon bonus not providing 500% damage

Hi,
I've been using a "deadly" Benelli M4 Super to try and see how high I could make the damage on the deadly hits.
For this purpose, I've used this weapon mainly during NPC fights, and I've used special ammo, epinephrine boost and timed my xanax accordingly.

No matter what I try, the deadly hits don't seem to produce more than 400% damage compared to regular hits on the same body parts.

If I leave the HP ammo out, it does give me x5 multipliers.

So a 2k hit is essentially 1,333 base damage hit (2000/1.5). If you land a deadly hit on this exact hit, you would get +550% Damage, meaning 1,333 damage hit would become 7,333 (1,333 x 5.5).

This is where OP is right though. If Deadly is +500%, and you get +550% for a Deadly+HP combo, the multiplier is x6.5 not x5.5

For the record I saw this the other day and thought it was weird too, because I couldn't work out what was going on
