Buying plushies/flowers and selling them to traders is a good way to make money, both for the runner and the trader. Trading works because you can trade sets of plushies and flowers at the museum in exchange for points, which can then either be used or sold for profits. If you're interested in seeing exactly what can be traded at the museum feel free to check out the museum entry in the Wiki.

1. Flying to other countries allows you to buy plushies/flowers for cheap (at the expense of time)
2. You trade your plushies/flowers to traders and get paid (end of your involvement)
3. The traders exchange fulls sets of all plushies/flowers at the museum for points
4. Traders either spend points at the points building (useful things such as energy/nerve refills) OR sell the points to other players via the points market

You can exchange them for points. People use points to get daily energy, nerve and casino token refills. People buy your plushies and flowers to get them to exchange for points. So you get profit for flying to other countries to get them these items.

You'll probably ask why don't they fly there themselves - most people find flying quite boring so they are willing to pay the extra price to you so that they don't have to fly for them.
