I dislike how player-run companies work in torn for the same reason I dislike companies in real life, the ball is in the company's court despite the fact that the workers are the ones that keep everything together.

The company I work for is going to charge a tax once we hit ten stars, not even just pay for trains. Really motivates you to stay working at lower rated companies.

You can make over 100m a week with your 10* perk lol...it costs big bucks to keep a LS at 10*...what do you expect? Where does all the money come from? With a business Class Ticket even after tax you will make far above what you could in any other player run company. Have fun sticking with your "no tax" lower end companies!

There’s tons of people willing to pay that tax because the 10* special is just that good. If you’re not one of them, try finding an oil rig. Few mil a day and all you have to do is log in.

Looks like you guys are a ways away from 10* anyways...your director will probably need to charge a tax to push to 10*. Like won't be able to get to 10* without already charging taxes. That's when the players have some control. There are a lot of 9* LS's that choose to stay in that range cause they don't want to pay the tax...dumb decision...but it's what I see happen a lot

I don't pay upkeep and I can fight naked, I get huge stat bonuses for not wearing armor. To me that is better for slightly faster flight times.
