Let me point out that I'm absolutely no saint, and I can be difficult to handle when I'm in a toxic environment. I was never able to change that with Calc leadership, and I only ever call shit out when I want and expect to see improvements.

I am (or was, as I expect I'm gone now) a total diehard no-life PT loyalist. I loved the group, and it was a real honour and privilege to lead Calculated. Meant a lot to me.

Sadly this is the only way I can tell them that, as I no longer even have newsletter privileges.

You're right. The M example was at the forefront of my mind due to PT-F failing against M most recently.

I don't really think I was all that biased, I've called out both sides for numerous things. In this one particular comment, sure. But I could just go back and easily edit to M/JFK and 'discredit CRyPTo/NS and Co.' And the illusion of bias would be gone. Because that's what it is, an illusion.

NS' call for help was a move available to them, and they took it. Because why wouldn't they? I'm super surprised M went with them, but I'd never dispute the call on either side. Why wouldn't you want to work with a superpower that wants to work with you? (And the question works whether posed by NS to M or CRyPTo to JFK etc etc)

I understand that the forums will always try to push you to one side or the other, but I try to strike a balance in banter and the shit talking.

I'm sorry you're experiencing what I like to call the nitty gritty of HOF life, most leaders don't get anything out of putting their time and effort into the rest of their faction, some leaders make their entire faction do what they want to do, I'd almost entirely argue that this "invasion" is just a handful of your leaders egos wanting to prove how good they're and they don't care who they have to burn during this process.

during pressure we see peoples true colors all the time I'm sorry this happened, I know it seems like all that effort you put in means nothing but I do think airing it out might only prove to the other leaders of PT that they made the right call. again I'm sorry this shit is meant to be a game but it gets taken to seriously by a handful of brand names imo

Leading a faction is a lot of work. Leading a faction family is worse IMO, at least when I work for 8 hours on a game after 8 hours of actual work I know I’m improving mine (and the other owners) faction.


If you’re part of a family you are doing all that work for someone else’s faction and hoping they are honest enough not to screw you.


Sucks to do all that work and have someone screw you.

I feel like there's more to this story but even then, it's absolutely heartbreaking when you put so much effort into something and you don't get any respect for it.

I'd definitely find another faction (even if it's a temporary setback), there's no future in a faction that won't respect your time and commitment

All that hard work and dedication, and they strip you of your rank out of frustration with their own mistakes.


I can understand being upset about losing a war, but this ain't the right way to handle that. You're supposed to learn from your experience and figure out ways to make it better. But rather than talk things out and try to work together towards a better solution, they let their bitterness get the better of them and take it out on members such as yourself who aren't at fault for the outcome of the war.


I do hope you can work things out, but I can't imagine them letting you stay given their history. Or maybe someone at the top will realize how much of an asset you are and how stupid it'd be to throw you out.

And if they do end up kicking you out, whatever faction you decide to join afterwards will be lucky to have you.

I don't really expect anything in return for my contribution to the war, I'm just happy to be able to help out in pushes and get some assists/hosps. It's fun and sometimes I get cool stuff from contests.
