Not sure who you're thinking of, but it's not Elliot Rodger. Elliot was a British-born, American incel who reckoned he was the hard-done-to 'supreme gentleman' that everyone overlooked. He wasn't an engineer - just a misogynistic rich-boy who literally used his pocket money to save up for his eventual rampage. Absolute lunatic, obviously, but not whoever you're describing here - must be another nutter.

I think I'm going to regret posting this, but that's not what Elliot Rodger did. He stabbed 3 men in his accommodation, then tried to get into a sorority house, couldn't, so randomly shot 3 women outside, then drove around firing randomly, running people over, etc.

He got proclaimed as their incel hero, because he wrote a manifesto hating feminists (same like the Montréal shooter shouted hating feminists). So I noticed that name more.
