This is one of the absolute best defensive weapons in the game. In group attacks it excels, and even in solo attacks it can stop def whores in their tracks. You can use it to heal up while killing high-defense opponents, even with a group attacking you, staying alive longer or saving med CD. There is no other double-bonus bloodlust weapon that comes close, to my knowledge. With this sword, I have received a staggering 3,000+ defends so far in the CRyPTo island invasion.
