What is a faction raid? Is it the same as a war?

Kinda. It's basically just a war but focused purely on stealing the opposing factions respect. And in worst case, landing them on 0 respect which will more or less destroy the faction

Not even stealing, as the attacker gains no respect themselves. They simply destroy it at a much higher rate. Normally when you’re attacked and the attacker gets 3 respect, you only lose 0.75 respect, one quarter of that which was gained. However in raids, instead of losing a quarter, you lose it all. Also, raid hits are considered ‘war’ hits and hit for twice the respect, so really it’s a 8x quicker draining of the defender’s respect.
