the new item image update seems to be lagging out my inventory massively. using android in chrome mobile browser latest update of each.

All seems to be working correctly, the new update shouldn't cause any additional load. Please try clearing the cache for Torn from the browser settings and see if it helps. If it does not, please provide your device name, OS version and browser version.

Can confirm on an RTX 3050

Utilisation shoots up to 33% when looking at the spray cans.

However, it seems to be only the cans that make mine go up so high.

ArmaLite, Minigun, Chloroform, Tape, Vicodin, Xanax, Shrooms, Cannabis, Axe and Macana are some others I tested and it sits at 15%~ utilisation.

But the Spray Cans consistently make it spike to 30%+.

Edit: Forgot to mention, on Windows 11 Pro 64 bit and on Edge what ever the newest version is.

Have to click carefully when using items on my phone, if I accidentally click the image instead of the item name and open the full 3D panel I might as well just kill the whole browser and restart it as it's faster than waiting out the lag.

I presume this is still an issue for you?

We determined a while ago that it's cause by items with transparent layers when hardware acceleration is disabled, so we're trying to remove any unnecessary transparency from items.

my browser still freezes conpletely for around .5-1 second and sometimes a lot longer after opening an item with a HD image and doesnt for items with older images so yes i would say it is still a problem.

I am also having this issue when expanding item info. Huge delays/lag in inventory. Works fine in display cases/auctions and bazaars.

Is there anyway to disable hi-res images? Occasionally get slow/no response from PDA and device crashes from opening the item page when items are expanded. Problem most noticeable when multiple tabs open during chains and rw.

Yeah this is a thing and im told to do something with graphics that i have never had to do before for any online game. So it is a bit odd. Maybe fix it? I am not sure where to find these settings either.
