Ched mentioned that the developers have been modelling new armors in his patch notes for a while now.
What do you think it should or would be?
Personally, I think it would be great to have an armor that can counter sure shot. For instance, an armor set that reduces the chance of opponent landing a hit.
Currently sure shot completely bypasses dex, regardless of how high it is, which makes it not only pointless to SE dex to the moon, but also makes SEing defense to the moon unfairly powerful as it has no similar counter.
The sure shot problem has been discussed many times publicly; I'll summarise the commonly raised counterarguments.

1. Defense has the "Execute" counter
- Response: Yes, but Execute needs a damaging hit to process. A 0 damage hit will not trigger the bonus, rendering it useless against those who SE defence to the moon.
- Response: This solution assumes that the opponent is not a defense whore. An example would illustrate this best. Player A who has 10b strength and 700b defense can take down Player B who has 10b strength 700b dex using sure shot, but there is no way Player B can take down Player A by himself.
- Response: At red, sure shot can reach 9-11%. That is not a low percentage, and red sure shots will inevitably become more common as ranked warring matures.
- Response: That does not address the fundamental problem of sure shot - it completely bypasses dex no matter how high it is, whereas there is no similar bonus to counter defense. What's the point of spending 200b whoring your dex when it can be defeated by a weapon that costs 10b?
