ok citizens i think the time has come we need to stand up for ourselves and tell the torn leadership we have had enough of there not even partially completed updates there clear disrespect for us players has grown and grown to the point now where they just tell us to piss off we will fix our incomplete updates when we feel like it then copy and pasting the same bullshit statement you used the last 2 years i'm sick of it as i'm sure many of you are as well and the only way i see we can make a statement to them is taking there income away so calling on each citizen that still subs to torn or buys dp's lets cancel our subscriptions and not put anymore money into torn and when they are losing 100k+ a month i bet they will stop shitting on all of us. we need to rally citizens and get atleast 10k subscribers to cancel there subs and no more donator pack purchases lets hit them where it will hurt them there pockets

People are so weird dev’s admins have family but because we have lagged one day you want to hurt the pockets of those who run the game and be detrimental to the games future.

We have another event with a large player base on the game so there's going to be hiccups and burps and farts and all manner of unpleasantness. Refocus on how to do the same task without losing your cool... You got this. Easy peasy.

I do worry about how much people are stressing out about the lag/crashes.

Torn has never been this large, and due to being run by sth like five guys and a wombat is still labouring under archaeo-code from the fossil record.

I'd agree with Hamr on this one that it's a bit concerning how much of a tizzy people are getting into over ever change that's made to Torn, especially when it causes lag. Things happen, life goes on.

I disliked it because the OP s post was specifically about broken/incomplete updates CLEARLY referring to the chat update. Since it dropped the chats been buggy and a lot of us couldnt use the mobile app for nearly an entire day as the icons would not show and chat disappeared all together... but for some weird reason you made it about a completely different problem which was halloween event lag, and not only made it about the wrong problem but then used it as an excuse to grandstand for the poor starving devs... this was never about halloween lag.
And even if it was about Halloween lag, anyone could make the argument that the devs shouldve anticipated heavy traffic when the event began and accommodated it.

But going on about "hurting the pockets of people who make the game", just chill with the grandstanding, you sound like a politician or somethng. Is it really so much to ask that paying customers would like something that works well? Many of us are subscribers and donators, including the OP by the way. Its really not so much to ask that they could do a little more testing before they release updates, ya know?


A boyctt is a bit excessive, but I get the frustration. We all love the game and appreciate the devs. Calm. Down.
