I went inactive before the ranked war update....I wanna know what's this 'war to earn money' thing? Is it a legit money making way? (Then i will do some merit resets). Is it true that people are paying 1mil/500k per successful hit?

If your only getting 500k-1m a hit your in the wrong faction......average is around 3m where Im at.
People will pay decent money per hit due to caches being a prize. Lets say that you are in a faction with 50 members. If every member makes 35 hits worth 1 mil each, then they would pay their members 1.75 billion. But, the caches they will get are worth between ~300 million to ~900 million each. Therefore, if they get 1 Heavy Arms Cache, 2 Armor Caches, and 1 Small Arms Cache, which are worth a total of 2.4 billion meaning that they actually make money on a ranked war.
A lot of factions are dedicated to Ranked Warring, and pay out most of the Prize income to the members that make hits. It should average $2 Mil to $4 Mil per hit.
