Debit Cards System

Hello!

My suggestion is to add some kind of a banking option that involves credit/debit cards to be used.

We already have a bank where you can invest money in.

So why not be able to use debit cards other than cash.

I am thinking of a debit bank balance that could be used and maintained.

Possible usage:
- Small interest on money held (up to a limit?)
- could be used anywhere anytime (even hospital but maybe not from jail)
- could stack with business school (different max and interest)

Quite a raw idea so please let's have a discussion.

Edit: the above is the basic raw idea. I want you you to help improve on it. I think the possibilities would be endless but could end up a good feature.

Why not muggle?

People get their bank cards stolen or defrauded all the time.

It could work but it can't be 100% safe from the threat of crime.

Nah, hiding cash is already too easy. It would be a huge nerf to mugging.

Fair enough. Could be a new option. Steal cash(mug) or steal card (fancy new name)

What I think is an option that you can use in circumstances where you currently can't use your cash.

It would be IMBA for traders, IMO. And while yes, we do have a bank that takes in investments and from a lore perspective it wouldn't be too alien, where does it fit from a gameplay perspective? Also, thematically criminals only deal in cash, so I'd like to point that out too.

Good point. I'm not thinking as criminal yet it seems.
