I just started reading the book that guarantees me escapes but when i started using the book in hopes to escape i was met with losses or stalemates. I thought that i would have been able to escape immediately or at least after the first 'hit'
Could i get an answer about this as soon as possible?
You can only attempt escapes during turns on which the enemy does not land a hit. You have to attack once before escape is available. You’ll need to reduce their speed or increase your dexterity if you find yourself getting hit too often.
Even when i landed hits it still did not let me escape for some reason. No clue tbh, if it is meant to be guaranteed then i wouldn't have to do all that
Escape function is only available under certain conditions. Its guaranteed when you meet those conditions.
That condition being, you cant be hit the turn prior. You cannot escape from people with vastly more speed than your dex because theyll always hit you.

If you want absolutely guaranteed escapes with the book, use 10* car dealership. The escape button is always available, and due to book, you are always successful when you press escape
Closed. As others have pointed out you need to not be hit in order to be able to attempt (guaranteed in this case) a run away. Joining a company with the special to always be able to run away may be in your best interest.
