Y'all can complain as much as you want, you're basically whining about crimes like larceny or drug transport from 1.0 giving little cash, as if that were a surprise to anyone.
"nErF tO tHe EcOnOmY" we haven't even hit arson yet and y'all cry about income not being as high as hacking like, go on...
Why you even acting like Arson will be money? It wasn't in Crimes 1.0 lol. We can certainly see what is there, and it's a lot of fluff and no gameplay substance. So far it IS effectively a nerf to crime profit.
They stated they don't want it to be everyone spams the same crime like 1.0 yet have released how many crimes with 0 appeal when it comes to actual gameplay benefits now? So how many do they need that are useless to us before these useful/profitable ones come?
We don't want everyone just spamming the same crime -> Releases a giant pile of crimes with 0 long-term appeal. Writing on the wall says only way that statement is true is if NONE are appealing rather than many.
Which is practically confirmed, since they cannot fit the remaining crimes (both confirmed by crime categories and speculated by item finds) inside four slots.
Confirmed: Arson (confirmed in newspaper), illicit services (body disposal? illegal transport?), Illegal production (cultivating narcotics? drug manufactory?), extortion (kidnapping? bomb threats?), cybercrimes (hacking? cracking?) Theorized: Forgery (based on items released), Body disposal (according to dataminers), Bombing (based on burglary outcomes)
Anyway - to get this thread back on track ever so slightly - getting close to hitting CS80, will probably get some pickpocketer data tomorrow, will look into updating the wiki page with known ranges and possible crit failures tomorrow as well. Seems like this crime is very easy to level up, so we should be seeing people maxing it sometime this weekend or next week the latest.
So you're bitching because the NOOB crimes designed specifically for NOOBS aren't useful to your TEN YEAR OLD account? Sincerely sorry that a 2 nerve crime isn't doubling your 50b NW, maybe you want a blowjob and your balls fondled too?
I think they're cool, some brain activity and planning required, way better than before. Don't really know what you expected? GTA V style crimes?? Maybe you can ask Ched to be reverted to 1.0 so you can spam arsons 1200 times a month..
Edit: And i agree with the rest.. This is a thread for those interested in helping collection data. Go whine elsewhere..
Ched appreciates your constant blowjobs with ball fondling too.
The crimes so far have been dogs**t, they're basically just there to grind to 100 skill.
Give credit when its due, and constructive criticism where its due.
You're all-in on the first, and are moaning at people doing the second, personally think it would be great if some of them were worth going back to, regardless of NW, etc.
The only criteria people have for determining whether or not the new crimes are dogshit is how much money you get from them (at least that's the only one i've seen), and it's weird to see people moan at low nerve, low level crimes. Maybe it's time for a new criteria? Or maybe it's time to wait for all the other crimes, or at the very least appreciate something more engaging than button spamming
More than just 2 nerve crimes are out, but I guess it's okay if you're brain can't process more than one thing at a time. Don't care what your criteria is frankly, if you like mass clicking for no rewards, more power to you. The reality is there are no rewards worth even clicking for outside just max for merits and move on.
Also, yes, the payout matters to some of us, that's why I'm in crimes 1.0 also yes the rewards are worthless to my 10+ year old account. However, as mentioned prior, they're also worthless to a 1 week old account that has a player with a brain behind it (and frankly, 1 day olds as well). The rewards don't stack up at all in today's economy even for the newest players. It's like the crime rewards were designed 10+ years ago.
All that said, I forgive your little outburst since as mentioned, the rewards are only worthless to people with brains, including new players.
Can't belive this argument even needs to be said, but here we are with a 1,500 day old player with lower networth than 1 week old players. Now back to fondling cheds balls with you. 4 years and can't fill your bank SMH.
As much as I defend crimes 2.0 for it's design and mechanics, I was disappointed when they started adding items to city stores to increase availability. The justification being that it made items more available to newer players and avoids required supplies from being locked to few people does not apply when these items are found aplenty while maxing a previous crime and used sparsely while performing said crime.
Spray cans? You get them very commonly from searching the junkyard and the fountain, with burglary making them even more common, and a can lasts ~30 uses. It didn't need to be added to stores when the ones found while doing other crimes were enough, and if supply was an issue... increase droprate/amounts or increase uses per can? Case in point, I used 98 cans during my run (2.9k graffiti) and found 109 from SFC alone, plus another 47 from burglary.
Skimmers and cameras? Cameras were extremely common from shoplifting, and skimmers you had 30 from unique finds and could get more from searching the junkyard. Not to mention, as long as they're not lost, you can keep reusing them. I lost 126 during my run and I'm part of the exceptions that spammed dangerous locations to max it fast.
In my mind, a daisychain of components that led to harder crimes and forced you to grind earlier ones, with profits reflecting the difficulty of acquiring said components, would've been a better design. *HOWEVER*, I get that some people aren't as fond of having to redo already finished crimes to have a chance at finding components for a crime that you actually wanna do.
Here's hoping they don't do the same with a ton of burglary components like brass ingots or bond paper, they're plentiful enough as it is, adding them to city stores would allow people to "skip the line" and rush straight into the most advanced crimes available without needing to do any of the previous crimes, effectively making them mostly useless for anyone that's not a new player.
With some using of my brain and nice info provided by torn.report, I can see where you're coming from and it makes more sense to me now. You're right because I've made about 6-7m from crimes and given that i've used thousands and thousands of nerve on it, it IS shit rewards, especially for noobies. And yeah, 4 years (which are 2 being inactive) and I have shit NW, but that's my gameplay style. I don't sweat and consequently I don't reap much.
