You can't claim to be honest about it once you've already been called out, thats not how it works. You're also not being singled out, if you even looked at the forum you'd see every new "artist" who posts on here trying to sell AI generated work without disclosing it gets called out straight away.

Nowhere is there a rule stating that it needs to be disclosed in your first post, or anywhere for that matter. You can't just make up your own rules and expect the world to follow them.

Don't think anyone else does, but I have 3 PSDs from Xzieo. I can see every single step he's taken and each one was 20+ layers

Does he use AI for resources, like a hand or a pumpkin? Maybe? Does Jetz use AI to make a skeleton hold a can of Munster? Have I used AI generated c4ds? Probably. But having the entire thing generated by AI then slapping text on it is different

Let's not grey the line between resources and "let's make the generator make the whole sig and slap some text on it"

And because my pictures aren't full of artifacts and clutter must mean that's exactly what I did? Don't assume you know everything.

Also, that whole image from Xzieo was done in AI besides some random special effects thrown on top. He didn't use AI for hands (no one who knows anything about AI would do that).

It’s quite clear that a nerve has been touched to the extent you and your friends went and disliked all my threads that I have created and posted a slanderous comment about my work. If I was generating my work solely through AI, it would very obvious and I would state it if I did. Using AI for resources such is all fair game but generating an entire image on AI and then slapping some shitty text o nwhich stands out as a sore thumb is not. All I mentioned was to place a statement that your work is AI generated so the customers who are paying you know the difference between anAI doing the work and an actual person using their skills.

Typing in a prompt and creating artwork followed by slapping some text on top isn’t your work, AI algorithms are trained unethically using databases of art belonging to artists who have not given their consent, The bottom line is that these generators use other people's art to learn how to make art. The use of AI in art takes away any originality. The skills and experience that an individual picks up to learn to design is an actual art and that’s what the players of Torn and paying for.

The type of designs you see from actual artists on Torn are beautiful compositions that took time and effort. For example, look at KingAbzor cl3ric0l, when you look at the work that’s produced by us you see colours,tones, compositions, textures, lighting, form and shape manipulated from a variety of images to create a unique piece of craftsmanship. People like UV and many others have gone from learning GIMP to photoshop to enhance their skills to become better and master. This is a journey that you are over skipping.

Regarding your comment on my Halloween thread, my images were taken from stock websites (Deviantart, Pixabay etc) and not generated myself using AI. “some random special effects thrown on top” this is such an uneducated comment lol.

But it's clear that you're just here to make a quick buck which explains why you found my statement as insult. If you used AI to create a render of a person then did the rest yourself and spent hours and effort getting the gradients,lighting positioning correct fair enough but all you've done generated AI imagery, sized it down placed text on top and trying to sell it off as you rown.

You can cry and downvote my comments all you and your palswish, but then truth will always win in the end. Even if the world is on the wrong side.­­­

I would like to rephrase my statement, don’t just generate the entire art on AI and slap some text on top. Put your own effort in and don’t take the piss out of the players of torn.

Edit: after a second review of the work created by "TheGoddessofJustice" it seems that she hand draws these and then digitally paints the designs. So perhaps her drawing hands is her weakness and not actually AI???

The whole point of this conversation is, Don't generate the entire image off AI and call it your own work. You can use elements from AI to composite it into the design, there is nothing wrong with that.

I hope you understand the difference now.

This isn't the real world though, it's a game. The graphics are going for 20m+ each because artists spent 18 years building up the value of one in these forums. Then 2023 came along and gave people the option to generate said graphics in an instant. Suddenly, people decide overnight they're "artists" and start making AI art from typing into a box and slapping text on top of it.

That's not an evolution of art. It's the evolution of rippers, just the 2023 version. They used to Google "sigs with ____" and then paint over the name and put their names on to sell, back in 07. This is just a more sophisticated way of saying I'm taking a massive shortcut and cheating my way into getting paid what real artists should be getting paid in here
