it depends. In the current market it looks like it's around 1.5b/100k res, though higher if the fac is high rank (plat), or less if below silver
Any fac under 100k is much cheaper, simply cuz the opportunity cost of starting from scratch is smaller, and the pain of core upgrades is felt much more (many nooblets buy w/out knowing what do and f**k up their perks and look to sell lol)

From a quick scan, it's getting closer to 2.5b-3b/100k res for those in the 'Golden' range. I've seen a 318k res faction sell for 8.5b in the last few days.
One of the key things to consider, as much as rank, is the usable respect a faction shell has. Not all factions of similar respect are the same.

A lot of variables, each faction has different core upgrades and unlockable perks. A faction that's already wasted respect on laboratory affects the usable respect. A faction that's already put the effort to have 25e revives ir steadfast percentages unlocked might cost different then one that hasnt.
A faction sells for whatever you can convince the buyer it's worth.
But with that being said, a respectable buyer will typically look at the current market for comparable listings, and make a determination on what yours is worth from that. If they can't find such a listing, they will talk to other players in the game who might have an idea.
A non-respectable buyer can probably be convinced that your faction is worth 2x-5x what it actually is. And likewise, a non-respectable seller could probably be convinced that his faction is worth 50%-10% of it's actual value.
