We have added the ability to "Pause" an API key. This was pushed to Live just now. I will enquire about key renaming.

can we also get a unique error code, so we can automate flaming on discord of people who pause their key?

It has been decided that the renaming functionality won't be added, partly because of the UI changes that it requires, not to mention the added complexity.
The missing logs for pausing/unpausing an API key has been added. I will mark this as Fixed.

Will fedded user's API now be paused rather than deleted?
This has been requested, we will circle back to it at some point in the near future.
