Do keys spawn the same way chests do? Where everyone can see them? And you can find them even though presents aren't spawning for you on the map?

How often are the spawning rates
I was curious of the same thing, but you'll get a lot of "some never get one, some people get 3, it's rng!".
I'd put it this way, you probably shouldnt expect to find one.

This is my third CT, and in the past years I got a single bronze key each year. Expecting a bronze key isn’t unreasonable, but don’t get your hopes up for a gold definitely
