I started playing Torn days ago and when I started the vault and the banking were adequate to the game. It was rare to have to carry around a huge amount of cash because both were full. today, however, it is almost a daily occurrence. Weapons are a lot pricier. So is armor. And yet the vault limit and the bank limit remain the same. Isn't it about time that the Private Island gets a new vault level that holds up to 10 billion? and maybe add in some real banking with players being able to keep their money in a bank but bank robbing being added as a crime so that players stand a chance to lose a percentage of their cash if the bank gets robbed.

You can bank in the Caymans, and it has like you said, a chance for you to get mugged for a portion as you go there to deposit or withdraw

Better banking defeats the point of having a mugging option

Also theres already a plethora of ways to store money. Vaults, companies, points, items, stocks, caymes etc just to name a few

It’s not hard to store large quantities of money temporarily or long term. I don’t see a point in increasing vault sizes or adding proper banking.

IMO you have should never have 5b+ just sitting there long term instead of even making a little money in offshore banking,

Agree. Just to add to that, you also have the stock market now. With the lack of volatility, you lose less than if you were mugged, if you even lose at all.

Yes lets add another feature to help old players with mega-billions keep their mega-billions safe and sound.

You have the caymans and you have ghost trades. Don't like it? create your own faction and have an unlimited vault? Still don't like the three options I gave you? too bad

tbh, if you manage your time/flight it is nearly impossible to get mugged abroad now. Cheddars added a 15s (safezone) period after landing (anywhere), so... if you time well, you can safely take money to Cayman (or withdrawal), just know your time and be ready immediately to do your deeds.

Cheers.

Tbf if you have 10b laying around and not invest the money, perhaps you wanna join a bizz community, because it seems to me you're wasting a good amount of capital. Or make yourown bizz comunity. Where people are just chillaxing there, discussing which stock to buy, company to flip, faction to flip, etc.

Caymans is definitely the worst way to make money in the game. Or one of them.

Just make sure if you need to store there you set an alarm for the time you land. You get like 15-30 seconds of immunity the moment you land where nobody can mug you.

So yeah, it comes with risks, but if you play smart, it's fine.

Sorry but, have a bank system to store money that can be robbed???? Why would anyone keep money in that at that point. May as well keep them on yourself and risk getting mugged, it's virtually the same. Sometimes I really don't get these proposals.

Oh and ya, what about the suggestion forum.

i cant tell if your ignorant, or just stupid.

torn HAS a infinite banking system availble to all players for the price of 25 points. furthermore, it even has some of the risk elements that you bring up, aswell as the chance to gain profit. sure its a little worse than it used to be before stocks 3.1, but its still a legitimate way to make money in my eyes.

and if that doesnt work for you, hell, start a company with a literally infinite bank. or one of the MANY options to store your wealth in.

To be fair, even tho there are multiple ways to keep money safe, I'd gladly pay $1bil for the ability to bump my PI Vault to $5bil.

But yeah, these threads are really kind of old.

You bought this account days ago and realized that the banking system isn't adequate enough for you to store your new found wealth???
