The dirty bomb was found right away. It's the ranked war weapons that were accidentally thrown away and then grouped together in the dump with millions of their regular counterparts that you'll never find.
So roughly 174m items still in the dump lets say every player (50k daily) search it one time per day. That’s 3480 days or 9.53 years. And that’s assuming not a single person trashes another item.
#Keep torn Green. Dedicate a set amount of time/days to reducing dump searches to 1e, and revoking all trashing, for the period of this event (all items found can only be sold to city shops, to remove them from circulation) LMAO
$1 that the dump database is not separate from the inventory database, just a flag set to "in dump" which is updated if found as well as the account id of the item if picked up.
I'd rather see a dump fire event where "someone" can torch the whole thing. ¯\_(?)_/¯
