Our Faction Honors System

Faction Honors are a branch off Torn’s base set, that allow members to create new goals and chase additional awards that are focused on faction gameplay. A newspaper article was released in 2018 that remembered our first set of faction honors created back in February 2013, and in April 2018 we created Faction Honors 2.0. Faction Honors received graphics changes as The Quidnunks HQ celebrated over ten years as a faction. Brand new honors were released in expansion one; giving members new content to look forward to that continued to keep them interested in claiming them.

The city is always changing, and its essential the Faction Honors system changes and adapts with it to take advantage of all new city features. In 2019, Faction Honors 2.1 removed some honors completely and replaced them with honors that focused more on faction gameplay and achievements that did not exist in Torn’s list of honors. For example, faction honors for making bonus hits in chains were removed and replaced with the honors including ‘Ninja’ for collecting 10.0+ respect from a non-bonus hit and ‘Pegasus’ for making ten overseas hits in a chain. Expansion Two honors were released between Feb and Nov 2019.

In 2020 we released Expansion Three called 'Hidden Honors' that weren't revealed until a faction member achieved it. We also released Expansion Four that added honors suggested by members. As I have gained skills in creating more impressive graphics over the years and have continued to add to our honors list with expansions, this year I have gone back to redesign our core honors set. Expansion Five rewards members for completing missions in our new Faction Missions system, and Expansions Six was based on member's suggestions and continued throughout 2021. In 2022 we released another 20 honors based on feedback and new faction competitions. In 2023 we released Faction Honors 3.0 and it has been all about ensuring all honors are achieveable after game updates and look much more modern that before. Many honors including those for the stat log and faction events are unique to our faction, but feel free to message me if you have questions about them.

Member Ranking -
Diamond - attain 150+ honors
Platinum - attain 125+ honors
Gold - attain 100+ honors
Silver - attain 75+ honors
Bronze - attain 50+ honors
Copper - attain 25+ honors

In 2023, Lewwer and I rebuilt the entire honors list, merging all ten expansions into a new 200 honors base set. This included brand-new graphics and descriptions, and a brand-new warring honors category. In 2024 we have plans to edit out some honors and or update them as we continue to adapt to changes made in the game and within our own set of competitons, events and wars.

I have created this thread to openly share the latest regarding our faction honors system. I often receive messages from other players about our faction honors and I am happy to share how our system works. When we no longer received new weekly honors, adding new faction honors feels like new game content is always on the way. It allowed me personally to let my imagination run wild and these systems bring out the creative side of me. It is a lot of fun and members love it. I hope you have enjoyed reading this thread. it's to the faction - and honestly with the faction competitions we have all the time - i mean the money we put in, goes right back to members :)

Looks like a fun idea, great job.

Out of all the great things about this faction, the honours system continues to get better and better. The work you guys put in is enormous and we are all very lucky to reap all of the benefits. <3

To add on, most of our comps and games doesnt even need to use Energy and if you did well, 100 mill can be easily earned.

And, it is not compulsory to do that Honor and its more like gesture of generosity towards faction

Question from me; is it down to the individual to track through them (e.g. go through the branches and their impact, notice when they do a +10 Resp hit), or do you have some sort of way to help them do that?

Would love to have something similar with us :)

You can also earn player cards for you performance with certain chains/wars or winning a faction event.

You can trade these cards with other players to complete your set if you want to.

For example; this is a card I got for winning the Grand Prix Tournament in 2023:

The vast majority of them are tracked via API and updated once/month by me, BrandyQHQ also helps with many non API related updates, and finally there’s about 40 of the list that need to be reported by the end user with some screenshot or log showing that it was completed.
