I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.

We were enlisted for a weekend war but got a Thursday fight start during the working day... confirmed with opponent they were enlisted for a weekday war so wtf torn?

Why give the option of weekend / weekday if its ignore at the end anyway? And to add insult to injury this was after being enlisted for over a week as we couldn't get a match the week before...

The opponents had set their preference to Weekdays. Please ensure that you validate the information (by asking for screenshot etc.) instead of blindly trusting your opponents.

Thanks!

Hi,

Quite a hostile reply considering my report stats the opponent put weekday preference, the question is why when we had "priority matchmaking" would you pair a fac that has requested a weekend war with someone who wants a weekday war?

Does priority matchmaking just mean we will ignore all parameters and make sure you get a match of sorts thus actually being a bad thing? Or does that preference actually have no bearing and is just there to make people feel good?

The preference is only followed if both factions have opted for the same preference, otherwise it is a coin flip. I assumed you would already know this since this is all mentioned on the relevant wiki page (Matchmaking). There's no bug in that system.

Priority matchmaking just gives your faction a priority if your opponent has two potentially equal matches during the matchmaking process. It does not ignore matchmaking parameters or the start time preferences.
