Where to go to get help with the Torn App? It went down yesterday and I uninstalled it and now it won't let me log in.

The torn app is currently bugged and this is a known issue

I try the Torn app every six months or so for about an hour then go back to google

It's probably this tbh. I've ran into that so many times, keep hitting try again and never get back in.
Updating didn't work. I had to uninstall the app, then reinstall it, but now it works.
I think you went one step too far getting it to work, you should have stopped at 'uninstall'.
Try TornPDA. Works on Android and iOS and is infinitely better/more reliable* than the basic Torn app, it's basically God Mode for this game (it has an inbuilt browser, shortcuts for things, alerts, support for userscripts, etc).
* full disclosure: v3.2.5 of TornPDA seems to be experiencing some input lag on Android, it's unclear what's causing it, it'll hopefully get fixed over the next few updates but, even with this issue, it's still a damn site better than the app you've been using.
