Hi,

I think for the past couple of weeks(?) I’ve been receiving my usual BAG ammunition, however, I’ve found that upon receiving the ammo, it has automatically loaded it as my primary ammo and I’ve ended up using it in NPC fights where I really don’t want to.

This never used to be the case, and I haven’t spotted any change in the announcements for this being the norm now (please correct me if I’ve blundered).


Anyway, its annoyingAF and if this is an error, I’d love it to be rectified so I don’t have to remember to set it back to normal ammo every week.

Even if your equipped weapon runs out of the selected special ammo, it's still selected at 0. When you get a BAG payout, and it happens to be that previously selected ammo type, the weapon will just use it automatically.

So yes, you'll have to unselect a special ammo if you don't want it to be used, even before getting it. You might've never noticed it because the type from BAG was probably different from your selected type.

IMO and IM most humble experience.

I am not setting the ammo intentionally as I am collecting it.


It appears that spam clicking NPC is where the issue has arisen… today, I learned that you can set your ammo whilst in an attack.
